Enchanté is French for ‘delighted’ as in ‘delighted to meet you’, and in the English speaking world – more so in days gone by – is an elegant response from a gentleman when introduced to a lady. Dressing women elegantly is what Enchanté is all about.
Although not a big store, Enchanté has a surprisingly wide range of evening dresses and bridal gowns. It also stocks a tasteful selection of apparel. The owner frequently travels to trade shows here and overseas looking for the best and most up-to-date fashions. Enchanté has some of the most stunning and avant-garde dresses you will find not just in Canberra, but in Australia.
